Another beautiful bedroom transformation for a lovely client who wanted to move away from her dark, dreary furniture and room feel to a crisp, calm and collected space ready to welcome her third baby. She also had a dire need for storage so we created a custom storage/entertainment wall (retaining the television to entertain her existing small people was a must). We also used a calming palette of pale blues and pinks to warm the abundant white storage options so it the room felt relaxing rather than clinical. There was so much storage in this one I couldn’t fit it all into our ‘Style Snapshot’ but I’m super happy that we fully satisfied the brief and helped this Mama find her Sisu! Brief: Calming, light coloured room with lots of storage. Pain Points: Existing furniture was too dark (big, black cabinets) and there wasn't enough storage. Solution: Built in, modular, wall-mounted storage with space to retain the existing television in the same spot. A calming palette of pale blues and pinks and natural timber accents to create warmth and avoid a clinical feeling from the large white storage wall.

We were asked to style speakers area at the Gold Coast Small Business Expo. They wanted something a bit more interesting that previous, simple (boring) backdrops they had used. We created two dried foliage walls which came together to form one big backdrop for the presenting experts, business owners and politicians to speak in front of. The rug we used tied in perfectly with the colours of our walls to create a stunning, one of a kind setup. We had so many great comments and wonderful exposure on this one which secured us a green wall backdrop gig at one of the Gold Coast shopping centres! Following on from the Small Business Expo post, this is the wall we built for our stand which we ended up replicating in the shopping centre. This was all made with fresh foliage and secured with a hundred and one zip ties! Don't you just love a time-lapse?? This was such a fun, styled photoshoot in New Farm Park for multiple local models and brands such as 'Esah & Co', 'Essejay Handbags' and 'Your Luxury Wardrobe'. The brief was 'Luxe Boho Picnic' and I'm sure you'll agree we nailed it (down to the pink mocktails and platter boards)! This entire setup comes from our inventory of stock. Love working with fellow small businesses and seeing our vision come to life! |
